Anita's Dulce De Leche is unique because of how it was born. A client named Anita wanted to support Sweets By Alex by ordering a cake for a family member who was also a baker. The person she got the cake for didn't eat chocolate. (Are you kidding me?) Compelled to exceed a mediocre debut, Alexander look for something different yet traditional.
The name "Dulce de leche" comes from the corners of the globe such as; Peru, Argentina, Portugal and even the Second World War.
This sweet creation is known as Caramel in the African American community which provides a familiarity across all ethnic backgrounds.
